| The 11th annual Amos Herr 5K Honey Run was held at Amos Herr Park on
Sunday, August 22, 2010. The major sponsor is
Dutch Gold Honey of Lancaster. All proceeds benefit restoration
projects at the 1852 Herr Family Homestead in Landisville and
Hempfield Area Recreation Commission scholarships. In the 5K
race, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes are awarded in seven age
categories in addition to overall male and female awards. A
Kids’ Fun Run with ribbons and prizes, sponsored by Sardina
Dental Group, was held as well.
